We are pleased to announce that effective December 11, 2008 our practice became accredited by The Joint Commission on Accredited Healthcare Organizations. We were the first and are currently the only periodontal practice in the United States and only one of three in the country in dentistry with this elite type of accreditation.
Universities and hospitals are required to have The Joint Commission accreditation; however, for our office this was a voluntary process that we chose to participate in order to provide the safest and highest quality of care to our patients.
